It started with a lab test
Before Dr. Hemp Me existed, our founder Brian sent a CBD oil he had bought to a lab to see what was really in it. The result fell well short of what the label promised. In 2018 he started making his own, and publishing the test results for every batch.

Since 16 May 2025, Maltese law names CBD as a non-psychoactive cannabinoid. Products with no more than 0.2% psychoactive cannabinoids, such as THC, fall outside the legal definition of cannabis (Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, Cap. 101, as amended by Act XII of 2025). How long does delivery take to Malta and Gozo?
Delivery is free on every order, to any address in Malta or Gozo. Order by 1pm on a working day and your parcel leaves the same day. MaltaPost usually delivers in 2–5 working days. The parcel is plain, with nothing on the outside about what’s inside.
Which CBD oil strength should I start with?
Most people start with the 10% oil: 1,000mg of CBD, about 5mg in each drop. The 20% oil has about 10mg a drop and the 30% about 15mg, for people who already know they want more per drop. Not sure? The 2-minute quiz suggests a product and strength to try first.
Do your products contain THC?
No. Every product we sell is THC-free. An independent lab tests each batch for cannabinoids, heavy metals and pesticides, and you can read the report before you buy.
Do you sell HHC or CBD flower?
No. HHC and similar semi-synthetic cannabinoids are banned in Malta, and we have never sold them. We don’t sell flower either (our CBD flower guide explains the law). Our range is CBD and CBG oils, gummies, capsules, balm and cream, plus mushroom and ashwagandha drops.
Can I use CBD if I take medication?
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first if you take any medication. CBD is not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or by anyone under 18.
What if a product doesn’t suit me?
